Bluedette is the design portfolio of an aspiring digital designer named Adrianne Marie. This site contains some of her best work, primarily from her past class projects as well as for her personal pleasure. She hopes to have a chance to actually enter in the digital designing field, whether if it was from web designing, graphic designing, or anything that is digitally creative. For now, this is a display of her works, as well as her small side business as a freelancer.

About This Site

Bluedette is the revamped version of my old final university thesis project known as Blue Scrambler Communications (BSC). Though the domain name was short-lived, the content and purpose of this site still remains the same. I opted for a shorter and somewhat "original" name that is easy to remember as well as something recognizable to the masses. I always loved using strange and unusual names or trems for a domain name. It kind of gives its own sort of identity to the entire site. Because of my love of the color blue, the name Bluedette emerged. The name is a combination from the words blue and an old California term for the female version of dude, which is dudette. Since blue is my favorite color and I hail from the sunny state of California, the name was born.

This portfolio site is the permanent house of all my digital creations, both for pleasure and some for commercial purposes. I also hope that this site would also be a house for my fresh and upcoming side-business commission for everything digital design-related. At the moment I am still putting all my pieces together, so bare with me.

Version 2.0

This new version layout features yet another experimental "3D girl" that I created using DAZ Studio, an open-source 3D character modeling program. It's a pretty simple model of a girl I just made with a beach background (stock photography provided by stock.xchng), nothing more, nothing less. Despite of it all, I am still a newbie at 3D modeling and I am still wishing for 3D modeling training. I gave up on 3D Studio Max. It's all about Blender now. No, that is not a "self-portrait". I'm a little shy posting up my real-life portrait anyway.
